2010 is coming to an end. It's been a dire year with Stu out of work but there is light on the horizon. I've had a lot of fun this year too despite lack of cash.
I wanted to blog my new years resolutions in an attempt to name and shame!!!
Primarily I intend to get off my butt and exercise...........a lot more.
Secondly I want to craft more so I will try to make at least one card a week and blog it!
And thirdly I will try to take more photo's, not a photo a day as I know I'll get bored and give up but plenty through the month and do a monthly review at the end of each month.
I think that's enough without making it too difficult, I don't want to fall at the first hurdle!
I have chosen one little word for the first time ever. I have chosen "achieve"
I hope you all have a very happy and healthy new year for 2011
Hugs

UKS Cybercrop
Oh heck!!! I didn't realise it was so long since I've blogged. I've not done a lot of crafting apart from a few Christmassy bits which I will post when they go up.
This weekend was the cybercrop over at UKS. I signed up at the very last moment having completely forgotten about it but still manged to get a few LO's done.
The first was a digi class by Karen which was right up my street.
The rest were all for challenges
Santa Claus is Coming to Town
Frosty the Snowman
Christmas Wish
Not so keen on the last one. It was done very quickly to fulfil the challenge. I'm quite pleased with the others though.

Not a Scrap of Craft!
I'm back home from a wonderful week in Cornwall. After hearing all sorts of severe weather warning for the South West we were pleased that as usual they had it all wrong and after one dulish day and a morning of rain, we had the most gorgeous week plus of wall to wall sunshine. Who could as for more?
I did a little craft (and found 2 scrapbook shops) but nothing finished to show, so I'll post a few photos from Cornwall instead.
This was our first (dull) day. We revisited old haunts along the North West coast.

Next day the lovely Mullion Cove
and The Lizard
My absolute favourite place - the Minack Theatre
and Porthcurno Bay
and just to prove I was there
and finally a couple from the fantastic Eden Project
Great memories of a fabulous week.

On a Roll
Well I didn't get very far with Shimelles cybercrop, I guess I wasn't in a scrapping mood. On the other hand I was in a cardmaking mood. There is an ABC challenge over at My Sketch World. Each day alternates between Scrapping and Cardmaking, so being in a cardmaking mood I've caught up a little and done
A for Adornment
A for Adornment
C is For Clouds
E is for Event
G is for Girly Green
and lastly K is for Kiss

A Couple of Cards
A couple of anniversary cards I made this week. First for Dee's first anniversary
The next one I was stumped for a colour scheme until I received a Stampin' Up parcel from Monica which contained a card made by her with a gorgeous colour combo.
Thanks for looking.

Jake is 2
On Saturday my gorgeous Jake was 2 years old. He had a wonderful day. At home he got a kitchen for his birthday which he loved.
First on a craft note, this is the card I made him. He loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on the Disney Channel and bounces along to the Hot Dog dance.
We all met in London and went to the Science Museum. They have an under 5's section in the basement which I would recommend highly to anyone with children that age (beware though, buggies are NOT allowed so if you have a baby, take it in a sling.) Jake loved this area and we stayed for a couple of hours.
Later after lunch we took him to Coram's Field, near Russell Square which is amazing. No adults allowed unless accompanied by a child, which they reinforce with a gatekeeper. There are a variety of playgrounds for different age groups. Jakes play area was all sand and water (note for next time take bucket and spade!!!). The climbing areas were safe enough not to have to follow him too closely and all told he had a great time.
Isn't he having a good time?
